Tutors need to add a course they wish to teach followed by adding schedule batch to that course.
Following are the steps to adding a course
Step 1 - Go on My Courses > Add Course
Step 2 - Provide a Title to the Course - Make it Unique & Short
Step 3 - Choose the level of competency
Step 4 – Pick the category & sub-category for the course
Step 5 – Provide the Duration of the course in weeks. If your course can be joined any time then pick 1 week, else provide the number of weeks it would take to learn the course
Step 6 - Pick Instruction Languages
Step 7 - Provide a video introduction of the course, a Youtube embed link
Step 8 - Provide short description - less than 200 characters
Step 9 - Provide lengthy description to course, explaining what the course is about, what the student will be learning, and how the course will be conducted
Step 10 - Provide Status Active if you which to publish it, else make it inactive
Step 11 - Pick an image for the course
Step 12 - Add a course document file, can be pdf, doc, docx less than 2 MB
Tutors need to add a Batch Schedule to a Course they wish to teach.
Only upon adding a batch does a course show up in the search section
Following are the steps to adding a batch
Step 1 - Go on My Batches > Add Batch
Step 2 - Provide a Title to the Batch- Make it Unique & Short & Describing the Batch . For e.g Weekend Classes
Step 3 - Pick the Course you wish to assign the batch
Step 4 – Pick the Join Type - Can be Anytime or only on start date. For courses which cannot be joined anytime pick 'Only on Start Date'.
Step 5 – Pick Currency of Transaction
Step 6 - Pick the Time Zone you wish to conduct the classes
Step 7 - Pick the Fees of the class, which will be per week per student
Step 8 - Specify the capacity of the batch - this will limit the number of bookings one can receive
Step 9 - Specify the number of classes per week - This should match the weekdays you pick below
Step 10 - Specify the duration of each class in minutes
Step 11 - Specify and pick the start date, end date , start time and end time.
Please make sure that the duration of the class matches to the time gap of start & end time
Step 12 - Pick the weekdays you wish to conduct the class. This should match to the number of classes per week
Step 13 - The Recurring checkbox needs to be specified and the week trend needs to be selected. This helps to specify whether you wish to conduct the classes only in specified weeks or all weeks.
Step 14 - Specify the status to be active if you wish to make the course and batch public for bookings
